Pesto Lamb Shank And Sautéed Veggies

Now this is PALEO! I Love lamb, some say not so much, but to me the rich flavour and tenderness is what makes it so delicious. Top it off with some pesto and BAMB! Pure paleo Joy~

Fresh Turmeric Prawn Coconut Curry

A taste of Thai, I miss all the fresh herbs and spices in the market up in Chang Mai Thailand. Everything was so fresh and easily available! I came across fresh turmeric root the other day which I was surprised to see, its not very common around here. I snaped up a few stalks and new exactly what i was going to do with it, CURRY UP AND DONT BE LATE ! ( I have a OPI nail polish called that, love it hahah..)

Apple Fennel Pine-nut Salad

I recently have really loved the taste of Liquorice, Fennel and Star anise also have a similar taste. I have never used fennel in any of my recipes , but I was curious to try something with it. I really enjoyed the subtle notes of liquorice in this salad , it was an interesting pairing.

Citrus Aioli Date Prawn Salad

I have been sprouting like crazy, fresh sprouts on a new tray each day! Its been a great addition to my salads, so fresh and tasty! This salad was particularly delish!

Grass Fed Beef Cilantro Meat Balls Over Zucchini Noodles With TomatoVeg Sauce

I picked up some local grass fed beef from my butcher today. I was thinking Italian after having been talking to some people about a really awesome new Italian restaurant that just opened up. I was craving meat balls and something pasta like after that talk! Heres the Product of that craving...and yes 100% Paleo no gluten involved.

Paleo Waffles With Mixed berries, Rhubarb Strawberry Sauce And Coconut Whipped Cream

As I said before, I love breakfast! I don't know what I would do without it haha. I usually allow myself to have one "sweet" super awesome almost desert like breakfast a month lol. This month I did a big brunch with friends and we made waffles!

Raw Pecan Pumpkin Cheese Cake

Yes another raw "Cheese cake" to confuse all of you who don't know what raw eating is. Since some of you may be confused , its super simples ( and yes also super delicious) Raw cheese cakes don't contain any cheese cakes, they just look like a cheese cake and mimic the texture. I fooled my family, so maybe you can fool yourself too haha :) I made this one for my friends pot luck, it was eaten up so fast! Can't wait to make it again.

Asian Style Ribs

mmm... I love ribs! Slow cooked and covered in a spicy Asian sauce? Sure to delight the taste buds!

Happy Saint Patricks Day Everyone! ( Yes I'm Irish :p) I must celebrate , but Paleo style!

Spicy Moroccan Chicken Soup

Recently I have been trying to kick up my spice levels in my diet,  especially with the addition of cayenne pepper and turmeric! Both are extremely powerful healing spices, both are extremely anti-inflamitory, one of natures most powerful sources of it. You can read more about the benefits of cayenne pepper HERE. This dish's spice level can be adjusted to each individual but the taste is fantastic! Give it a try and spice up your life :)

Creamy Curry Apple Pecan Chicken Salad

Let me just say I love curry! All the used and unique ways of making it or adding flavour to a dish are so amazing! Who would have though apples and curry would go well together? The sweet crispy apples pared with crunch pecans, savoury chicken and a creamy curry sauce - fantastic.  I would definitely put it on my top 5 crowd pleasers, its so easy to make and a great pot luck dish sure to please :)

Albacore Tuna Salad With Fresh Sprouts, Hemp Hearts, Topped With Creamy Sesame Dressing

This past week I finally received in the mail my new sprouter! I had been trying to make sprouts in a mason jar. I read it worked but I didn't seem to have much success :/ This new sprouter works fantastic though! Within 3 days I had amazing alfalfa sprouts. its a 4 teared one so I can have multiple trays going. Im currently sprouting broccoli and sunflower seeds . Recipes to come soon with them involved ;) There are many benefits of sprouts, also they are super tasty. I used "Mumm's sprouting seeds" On their web site they have lots of info about the benefits, if you want to learn more click HERE.

Raw Apple Pie With Vanilla Orange Cinnamon Sauce

When I was little I would always help my grandma make an apple pie every time we visited, I always looked forward to it! She was teaching me how to make her famous family pastry dough to keep the recipe in the family, haha. Well since being paleo for 2 years I have not made any pies, but there are so many paleo and raw recipes out there! I had been thinking about apple pie for a while now and finally got a chance to make one for our family dinner this Sunday. It is definitely not quite the same as grandmas flour and butter filled apple pie, but It has the same love put into it! Also there is no baking required! Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday, and eat some pie!!! Pie makes everything better :)

Star shaped design with Vanilla orange caramel sauce !

Mom's nifty apple peeler, sure came in handy!

You can see the delicious  coconut flakes in the crust, much love!

Paleo Fruit And Berrie Crepes With Cinnamon Caramel Sauce

Last night I was thinking about my time in Paris with my best friend Sarah, we stayed in down town Paris for a few days and every morning we would go to this little crepe cafe right by out house, they were so good! It has been a long time since I have had crepes, I had a huge love for them when I came back from Europe. I LOVE BREAKFAST (you should too!), best meal of the day IMO. I make Paleo pancakes every so often , but have never tried crepes, so here is my first attempt, they turned out great! I decided to pair it with a unique cinnamon caramel sauce instead of maple syrup, it really added to the whole taste!
